ICMS™ - Court Case Management System
ICMS™ is a full-featured, robust system that automates and tracks all aspects of a case life cycle from initial filing through disposition and appeal as to each individual party for Criminal, Juvenile, Minor Offenses (Traffic Violations), Civil, Small Claims and fiscal accounting.

The foundation of ICMS™ is a business rules engine, requiring minimal clerk intervention. This allows ICMS™ to facilitate the efficient and reliable collection, organization, distribution and retrieval of significant amounts of case specific data as well as the processing and recordation of payment of filing fees and fines. Overall, ICMS has more functionality than any other court case management system on the market with:

  • Complete and Comprehensive Database Design
  • Seamless Integration
  • Ultimate Client Flexibility
  • Unique Capabilities

Complete and Comprehensive Database Design
The ICMS database design is complete and comprehensive to accommodate the management of all case types from the simplest to the most complex. The application of the modular design allows ISD to integrate new functionality and technology into the existing application quickly and seamlessly. ICMS was built with business logic rules to assist in the elimination of case processing errors, helping intuitive applications perform “behind the scenes” functions. The ICMS™ application also generates un-dispositioned case reports in compliance with the Delay Reduction Act.

Seamless Integration
As appropriate, all product suite modules seamlessly interface with other agency computer systems both internally within the county network of agencies and courts, such as Social Services and the Juvenile Justice Department, and with systems external to the county’s, such as Traffic Court and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Ultimate Client Flexibility
Built as a set of integrated modules, ICMS™ gives courts the ultimate flexibility to select and tailor the capabilities and functionality of the system. While ICMS is based on a single set of codes that operates in each court, courts have the ultimate flexibility in all aspects of the system through user defined tables. Each division and department within the court is provided with the opportunity to configure its own:

  • Case types and categories
  • Compliant types
  • Party types
  • Payment types
  • Actions
  • Minutes
  • Disposition entries
  • Customize court calendars
  • Minute orders
  • Notices

Unique Capabilities

  • Smart Calendaring
automatically calendars events in response to the filing of a particular document. For example, the filing of a complaint triggers the scheduling of the first Status Conference in a case and generates a Notice to Plaintiff’s counsel setting forth the date, time and place of the hearing. The filing of Proof of Service of a complaint on a defendant will automatically calendar the due date for filing and the defendant’s responsive pleading in accordance with the rules set forth in the California Code of Civil Procedure. In the event Plaintiff’s counsel attempts to enter the defendant default prior to expiration of the time for filing the responsive pleading, ICMS will automatically reject the “Request to Enter Default.”
