General
Civil
The
myriad types of civil cases from a simple tort claim to a multi-million
dollar breach of contract or personal injury case are processed
within this module. The General Civil module allows the entire
arbitration process to be tracked from selecting a panel of proposed
arbitrators to the filing of a trial de novo. The Civil module also
has an exhibit tracking component that fully handles all exhibit
processing. The application maintains a complete audit trail of
all exhibit changes and physical movement. ISD Corporation's inherently
flexible system is a fit for any county's or state's legal processes
or statutory requirements.
Within
the General Civil module, adoption cases of all types, among
them independent adoptions, agency adoptions and intercounty adoptions,
are handled from the point of filing through final disposition.
The module also allows the sealing of these often very sensitive
cases.
Probate
The
Probate module allows original and subsequent petitions to
be tracked. All required initial petition documents and all subsequent
documents for adoption, conservatorship and guardianship are filed
and tracked in the system. The system manages the processing and
tracking of accounting documents such as the Notice of Hearing or
the Notification to Court of Address.
Mental
Health
The
Mental Health module manages the complex tracking and administration
of mental health cases including petitions, reports and accounts.
Details of guardianship or conservatorship proceedings when the
ward or conservatee is or has been a patient in a state hospital
under the jurisdiction of the State Department of Mental Health
or the State Department of Developmental Services are held within
this module. For confidentiality purposes, users are able to seal
the cases, allowing access to only authorized employees or persons
defined by the customer. The system also gathers pertinent statistics
including, but not limited to, the number of people committed.
Small
Claims
The
Small Claims module supports the cases that typically have
pre-defined monetary limitations and that also do not allow engaged
parties to employ legal representation. The system facilitates the
resolution of these minor civil disputes by providing a method of
tracking, handling and generating all associated actions and forms
such as those stating the cause of action (claim of plaintiff),
notices to serve and notice of entry of judgment forms.
Unlawful
Detainers
The
Unlawful Detainers module accepts and tracks all data pertaining
to the legal process involved in unlawful detainers and provides
immediate online status for any aspect of any case based upon the
tracking of court-defined landmarks. ISD Corporation has also incorporated
the ability to store the premises address for the purposes of noticing
"all unknown occupants" and to generate the forms to appropriate
law enforcement officers to proceed with legal eviction after judgment
has been rendered in the case.
Family
Law
The
Family Law module facilitates the processing of all related
actions including restraining orders, marital dissolution or legal
separation, paternity, child or spousal support, disposition of
property, adoption and child custody and visitation. The application
allows users to assign mediators to a case and tracks the entire
mediation process.
